Details of next year's Detroit edition of Moodymann's Soul Skate party have been revealed.
The bi-annual skating event will return to Moodymann's hometown over Memorial Day weekend next year, taking place over the course of five days. The lineups and venues for 2020's edition of Soul Skate are yet to be announced.
Moodymann launched Soul Skate in Detroit in 2007 creating a place for skate dancers around the US and beyond to meet up and cut around the roller rink to music soundtracked by a number of DJs, sometimes including himself.
A sold-out London edition of Soul Skate took place over the weekend, while the event will head to Berlin on Saturday, October 26th. Taking place at Supermarkt, it will feature sets from New York's DJ D and Berlin's Rollers HiFi. Moodymann will also DJ at an afterparty which will take place that night at Berlin venue the Prince Charles.
It was recently revealed that Moodymann would play at this year's Epizode festival which takes place in Vietnam and runs into early 2020.
Earlier this year, he released a new album called 'Sinner' which was originally available for sale at a barbecue in Detroit over Movement festival weekend, before receiving an expanded digital release.
